These two are close, so this is a short page. Both write LinkedIn messages for you, and both let you approve a draft before it goes. Valley is an outbound platform: it finds prospects and runs campaigns to them, with email as well. HeyReagent starts at the other end, with the conversations you already have. When Valley is the better choice
- Your problem is finding new prospects, and you want prospecting, scoring and campaigns in one place.
- You want email alongside LinkedIn.
- You want to start for less: its first plan was $199 a month.
When HeyReagent is
- Your problem is the conversations you already have: replies waiting, people who went quiet.
- You want one conversation with an agent instead of campaigns to manage.
- You want a free API and MCP address for your own Claude, ChatGPT or n8n.
What is the same for both
Both act on your own LinkedIn account, and LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow automated activity. LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account, whichever tool you use. HeyReagent puts a daily limit on every kind of action for each account; the numbers are public.

Is HeyReagent cheaper than Valley?
No. The Agent plan is $499 a month. Valley’s plans were $199, $299 and $499 a month when we read its pricing page on 5 October 2026, less when billed quarterly.
What is the real difference between Valley and HeyReagent?
Where each starts. Valley is an outbound platform: it finds prospects, qualifies them and runs campaigns to them. HeyReagent starts from the conversations you already have, answers and follows those up first, and reaches out to a few new people a day. Both show you a draft before anything goes.
Does HeyReagent send email?
No. It works on LinkedIn only. Valley includes email from its Plus plan.
Is there a free way to try it?
The free plan covers the API and the MCP address, which you drive yourself. The Agent plan is the one that runs LinkedIn for you.
