HeyReagent / LinkedIn MCP server
A LinkedIn MCP server you paste into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or n8n
HeyReagent is a hosted MCP server for your own LinkedIn account. You sign in once, connect LinkedIn, and give your AI app one address. From then on it can read your inbox, send messages and invitations, search people, and work with posts. It is free to start, and it is not made by LinkedIn.

What your AI app can do with it
There are 97 actions: 92 on the free and Connect plans, and 5 more on Agent. By area: Profile (5), Network (9), Messages (27), InMail (5), Search (17), Posts (11), Sales Navigator (1), Recruiter (4), Jobs (10), Insight (4), Account (4). A few of the ones people reach for first:
who_is_waiting_on_meList the people whose last message you have not answered.list_conversationsList the conversations in the stored copy of your inbox, across your accounts.send_messageSend one message to a 1st-degree connection, or into an existing conversation, now.send_invitationSend one connection invitation, now.search_peopleSearch people on ordinary LinkedIn by plain words, a place name and connection degree.get_recent_postsRead one person's latest posts, through a shared account.comment_on_postComment on one post, or answer one comment on it.who_went_coldList the conversations that went quiet.
Every action, with its inputs and what comes back.
Why a hosted one
A widely used LinkedIn MCP server on GitHub (3.7 thousand stars when we looked) works through a browser on your own computer. Its page says it connects your AI app to LinkedIn "through your own logged-in browser session", and that "all browser actions run locally on your machine". Its README. That is free and it is yours, and it has two costs: it runs only while your computer does, and when the session ends you log in again.
A hosted server is an address. There is nothing to install or keep running, the sign-in is kept for you, and it works from apps that cannot reach a program on your laptop. That is the reason people search for a "LinkedIn MCP server URL": they want something to paste.
Limits that are built in
Each LinkedIn account has a daily limit for each kind of action. An action past its limit is refused, with the time it resets. Reading your conversations is not limited.
| What | A day |
|---|---|
| Invitations sent | 80 |
| Invitations accepted or declined | 100 |
| Invitations taken back | 100 |
| Messages sent | 100 |
| InMails sent | 40 |
| Messages edited, deleted or reacted to, and conversations deleted | 100 |
| Comments on posts | 40 |
| Reactions to posts | 40 |
What it costs
| Free, $0 | Every Connect action. LinkedIn is disconnected after an hour without use, so it is for working live. |
| Connect, $29.99 a month | The same actions with LinkedIn kept connected, so scheduled workflows run. |
| Agent, $499 a month | It runs LinkedIn for you: answers your inbox in your voice, follows up, and finds who to talk to. You approve what it sends. |
Questions
Is this the official LinkedIn MCP server?
No. LinkedIn has not published an MCP server, and HeyReagent is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn. It is an independent service that acts on your own LinkedIn account, at your direction.
Is it free?
Yes, to start. The free plan has every action the Connect plan has, with one difference: LinkedIn is disconnected after an hour without use, and 12 hours after connecting at the latest. That suits working live in a chat. A workflow that runs on a schedule needs the Connect plan, at $29.99 a month, which keeps LinkedIn connected.
Do I have to install anything?
No. It is an address. Nothing runs on your computer, so it also works in apps that live in a browser, such as Claude and ChatGPT on the web.
Does it work with Sales Navigator and Recruiter?
There are actions for both. They run on your own LinkedIn account, so the account needs that product.
Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using it?
LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow automated activity, and LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account that it decides is automated. Every kind of action here has a daily limit for each account to lower that risk. The limits do not remove it.
