HeyReagent / LinkedIn AI agent

A LinkedIn AI agent that does the work, and asks first

Not a chatbot that writes posts, and not a tool that sends one message to a list. HeyReagent is an agent on your own LinkedIn: it reads what came in, answers the way you would, follows up, finds who to talk to next, and tells you each morning where things stand. You take the meetings.

What it does on its own

See what each of these looks like.

What you say to it

No dashboard and no campaigns. You tell it, in your own words:

An agent beside an automation tool

More on LinkedIn automation, and what LinkedIn's rules say about it.

It asks first, until you tell it not to

ChatIt answers and shows. It touches nothing.
CoworkIt drafts and lines things up. You send, edit or skip. This is where you start.
AgentIt acts inside the limits you set, and tells you after.

And some things it cannot be talked into, because they are stops in the code and not instructions it was given:

How you stay in control.

What to weigh

An agent that reads your inbox and sends for you is doing what LinkedIn's User Agreement says not to automate: "Use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages". LinkedIn's User Agreement, section 8.2, read on 7 October 2026. LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account. The limits and the stops above lower that risk; they do not remove it.

Questions

What is a LinkedIn AI agent?

Software that works your LinkedIn account with you instead of waiting to be operated. It reads what came in, decides what the next step with each person is, writes it, and either asks you or does it, depending on how far you let it go. HeyReagent is one: it answers your inbox in your voice, follows up, finds new people worth talking to, and briefs you each morning.

How is an AI agent different from a LinkedIn automation tool?

An automation tool sends what you wrote, to a list, on a timer, and hands the conversation back when someone answers. An agent starts where that stops: it reads each conversation and writes the next message for that person. It is measured in meetings booked, not messages sent.

Does it send anything without asking me?

Not unless you tell it to. It starts by drafting: you send, change a word, or skip. You can let it send on its own for the things you trust it with, and take that back at any time under Account. At every level it asks before it deletes anything, spends credits, posts publicly or changes your profile.

Will it sound like me?

When you connect LinkedIn it reads the messages you sent and the posts you wrote, once, to learn how you write. After that it learns from every edit you make to a draft. What it has learned is one page you can open and rewrite.

Is my LinkedIn account safe?

Every kind of action has a daily limit for each account, such as 20 invitations and 50 messages a day, and the limits are built in rather than left to a setting. LinkedIn’s own terms still apply to your account, and automated activity can lead LinkedIn to limit one. The limits lower that risk; they do not remove it. Is HeyReagent made by LinkedIn?

No. HeyReagent is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn.

Rather have it done for you?

The Agent plan answers your inbox in your voice, follows up, and finds who to talk to today. You approve what it sends.
