HeyReagent / LinkedIn automation on Reddit

LinkedIn automation tools on Reddit: what to trust

People ask Reddit which LinkedIn automation tool to use, and get long lists back. We read three threads, with their replies, on 28 October 2026. This page says what the recommendations have in common, what they leave out, and how to judge a tool yourself, whatever the list says.

What we read

Three threads are a handful, not a survey. We paraphrase them and quote none at length; open the links for what each person actually wrote. We took no number from them as a measure of anything.

What the recommendations have in common

What the lists leave out

What no thread can settle

Whether a tool is allowed. LinkedIn says no to all of them. Its User Agreement (read on 28 October 2026) lists, among what members agree not to do: "Use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages". LinkedIn's User Agreement, section 8.2. That covers every tool on every list, this one included, and nobody outside LinkedIn can promise an account will not be limited. What LinkedIn says, and what we do about it. What people say caused a restriction.

How to judge a tool without the thread

  1. What does it do on your account in one day? Ask for the daily limits in writing, per kind of action, and whether you can raise them.
  2. Is it the same message to everyone? A restriction post we read blamed exactly that, and an uncleaned list.
  3. Does anything go out without you seeing it? If yes, you are trusting the tool with your name.
  4. What happens at the first reply? If the answer is “the sequence stops”, you still have the hard part to do.
  5. What does it cost at the number of accounts you will really run? Multiply the seat price, then add the second tool if it lacks email.

Where HeyReagent fits

It is the answer to the fourth question. It is one agent on your own LinkedIn that reads each conversation, writes the next message for that person and asks before it sends. It is not the cheapest thing named in these threads, it does not run email, and it does not send one sequence to a list. If you want that, the tools above do it, and our pages set HeyReagent beside five of them, from each one's own pricing page: Dripify, Expandi, HeyReach, Valley, Gojiberry.

Questions

What is the best LinkedIn automation tool, according to Reddit?

There is no single answer in the threads. The lists we read name different tools, the posters run different set-ups (one agency account, six client accounts, a lone seller), and replies under them add still more names. What they agree on is the shape of the choice: sequences or an agent, LinkedIn alone or with email, and what it costs for each account.

Can I trust a tool list on Reddit?

Read it the way you would read any recommendation. Check whether the poster says how many accounts they run and for how long, whether they name something that did not work, and whether replies under the list add another product by name. A list that only praises is an advertisement, whoever wrote it. In the threads we read, the most useful posts said what went wrong.

Is there a safe number of invitations a day?

Not one anyone can promise. In the restriction thread we read, a reply said LinkedIn counts the tool itself, not only the number, and that there is no safe automated daily figure. LinkedIn’s own User Agreement, read on 28 October 2026, lists using “bots or other unauthorized automated methods” among the things members agree not to do.

Is HeyReagent one of the tools on these lists?

No, and it is not trying to be. The lists compare tools that send sequences to a list. HeyReagent is one agent on your own LinkedIn that reads each conversation, drafts the next message and asks before it sends. It costs more than most of what the threads name, and it works on LinkedIn only.

Rather have it done for you?

The Agent plan answers your inbox in your voice, follows up, and finds who to talk to today. You approve what it sends.
