HeyReagent / Is there an official LinkedIn MCP?

Is there an official LinkedIn MCP server?

No, not that we could find. As of 5 October 2026 LinkedIn’s developer documentation does not list an MCP server, and LinkedIn is not in Claude’s connector directory. The LinkedIn MCP servers you can install today are made by other people and companies, this one included. Here is what LinkedIn does offer, and what your choices are.

What LinkedIn itself offers

LinkedIn has developer APIs, and most of what people want from an MCP server is not open in them.

You can see the result in two well-known products. Zapier's LinkedIn MCP lists two actions, and both create a post. Zapier's page. n8n's LinkedIn node has one operation, creating a post. n8n's documentation.

The three kinds of LinkedIn MCP server

Ones that postZapier's and n8n's are of this kind: they publish posts for you. No inbox, no messages, no invitations, no people search.
Open source, on your own computerDrives a browser that is logged in as you, on your machine. Free, and it runs only while your computer does. A widely used one (3.7 thousand stars on GitHub when we looked) warns in its own README that LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits automated access and that accounts can be restricted. Its README.
Hosted, by a companyAn address you paste, with the sign-in kept for you. It acts on your own account, so the same warning applies. HeyReagent is one of these.

What to weigh

Anything that reads your inbox or sends for you is doing what LinkedIn's User Agreement says not to automate, whoever makes it. LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account. If you only need to publish posts, one of the tools that only posts will do, and you do not need us.

If you need the inbox, messages, invitations and search, the question becomes how carefully it is done. HeyReagent puts a daily limit on every kind of action for each account, and does not offer a way around them. How it works, and the address.
