HeyReagent / LinkedIn message automation, one person at a time
LinkedIn message automation, one person at a time
You automate your LinkedIn messages here by asking, not by building a sequence. Say who should hear from you, and each message is written for that one person from their profile or your conversation with them. You read them, and only the ones you say yes to go out, each as its own message from your own account.

Which LinkedIn messages can I automate?
Four kinds, each one started by a plain question to your AI app. Each question only reads, so nothing changes on your account until you ask for a message to go out.
- Answers to the people whose last message you have not answered.
- Follow-ups in conversations where nobody has written for a while.
- A first note to connections you never exchanged a message with.
- An InMail to someone you are not connected to.
- "Who is waiting on an answer from me?"
- "Which of my connections have I never written to?"

How do I message several people without sending the same text?
Ask for the list first, then ask for one draft per person. Your AI app reads each person's profile or your past conversation and writes a note that could only be for them. You see every draft before any of them is sent.
- "Take the first five connections I never wrote to. Read each profile and draft a two line note about something on it. Show me all five."
- "Send the notes to Ana and Ravi. Skip the other three."
get_profileRead one person's profile in short, with their recent posts and their company.send_messageSend one message to a 1st-degree connection, or into an existing conversation, now.start_conversationStart a new conversation: an InMail, a message through Sales Navigator or Recruiter, a group, a company page, a job applicant.
A note to a 1st-degree connection goes as a plain message. For someone you are not connected to it starts as an InMail, which is covered in the InMail guide.
Can the messages go out without me?
With your own AI app, no. It sends when you tell it to, one message at a time. With the agent, you choose. It starts by drafting every reply and follow-up for you to send, change or skip. Later you can let it send on its own for the replies you trust it with, and take that back at any time.
Some stops stay in the code whatever you allow. Nothing more goes to someone who said no. There is no third follow-up in a row to someone who has not answered. On its own it starts at most five new conversations a day.
What the agent does in your inbox is on the LinkedIn AI agent page.
What is the daily limit on LinkedIn messages here?
For each connected account, at most 100 messages and 40 InMails a day. No setting raises them. Ask at any time how much of today you have used.
- "How many messages and InMails can I still send today?"
get_usageRead how many of each LinkedIn action your account used today, and each daily limit.
The limit for every other kind of action is on the actions page.
Where to set it up
Connect your LinkedIn to the app you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Meta Muse or n8n. To have the agent keep your inbox answered for you, see the plans.
Questions
Is this a message sequence?
No. There are no steps on a timer and no template sent to a list. Each message is written for one person when you ask, and goes out when you say so.
Can I automate LinkedIn messages in n8n?
Yes. The same message actions work as steps in an n8n workflow, with the same daily limits. The n8n guide shows how to connect it.
Will every message sound the same?
No. Each one is written from that person's profile or your conversation with them. You can also tell it how you write, such as never pitching in a first note.
Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using it?
LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow automated activity, and LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account that it decides is automated. Every kind of action here has a daily limit for each account to lower that risk. The limits do not remove it.
Rather have it done for you?
The Agent plan answers your inbox in your voice, follows up, and finds who to talk to today. You approve what it sends.
